Yoko has worked in the education industry for more than fifteen years, in both Japan and New Zealand holding various roles including teaching, counselling (both students and parents), marketing, managing a private evening school, and working as a programme administrator and registrar.
As registrar, Yoko is responsible for administering student records, processing enrolment documents, maintaining student records, issuing academic transcripts and providing support for the bi-annual graduations.
Yoko holds a Bachelor of Arts, Certificate in TESOL and a Certificate in TECSOL. She is also a qualified intermediate and high school teacher in Japan.
When she’s not at work, you will find Yoko travelling and going to concerts and plays. The ‘arts’ play an important role in her life and she subscribes to the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Music New Zealand and the Auckland Theatre Company.
